Jill Austin – A Vision for the New Year

jill-austinJill Austin: A Vision for the New Year

A Gambling Casino

I had an open vision and saw a gambling casino covering the earth. There were global players who were playing for the world’s resources (like gold, silver, oil, and water). There were nations that had no problem committing genocide on a whole nation for their gold mines.
They were playing with cards–gambling and playing for high stakes. These players faces were like dogs. They had thick collars on, with spikes, and they were smoking expensive cigars. They were laughing crudely, and they were drunk and drinking whiskey. The scene looked like one of the paintings by Coolidge, which shows dogs gambling like men.

A Message from the life of the Bob Jones

Bob Jones, prophetIn the life of many of God’s chosen servants, events in their lives speak to us with prophetic urgency. While this is certainly true throughout the stories in the Bible, we also find it is true in the lives of many of His Servants today, as well.  In this, there is one instance in his life of now late prophet that I think speaks profoundly to this generation, the life of Bob Jones.

I feel this small snippet of the life of Bob Jones, his recovery and time in rehab under a Christian doctor who wanted to “just save one more” speaks to the condition of the young people in the church, those who know they are called to be used of God, but are, for whatever reason, unable to move forward.

For the many of this generation who either know their calling, are running for it, or are simply clueless to the plans God has designed for them, I believe this speaks to them today.  This is taken in part from the Prophetic History of IHOP-KC, the 1988 version.

The following is, of course, not the view of IHOP-KC, or much of the IHOP community.  They are merely the current musings of the editors of this blog (which is an independent service), and are not intended to cause confusion or controversy, but merely express our own findings.

The Coming Glory and Deceiving Spirits

stanley-frodshamProphecy given at Elim Summer Bible Camp – New York in the Summer 1965

By Stanley Frodshams (who had travelled with Smith Wigglesworth)

When I visit My people in mighty revival power it is to prepare them for the darkness that lies ahead. With the glory shall come great darkness. For the glory is to prepare My people for that darkness. I will enable My people to go through because of a mighty visitation of My Spirit. Take heed to yourselves lest you be puffed up and think that you have already arrived. Many shall be puffed up in that hour as in the days of old. For many then did receive My message, but they did not continue in it. Did I not anoint Jehu? And yet the things I desired were not accomplished in his life.

Listen to the messengers that I will send, but do not hold any man’s personality in admiration. For many whom I shall anoint mightily with signs and miracles and wonders shall become lifted up and put upon a pedestal, but they shall fall by the wayside. I do not do this willingly, for I have made provision that they might stand. I call many into this ministry and equip them, but remember many shall fall in that hour. For Babylon shall not stand. They shall be like bright lights, and the people shall delight in their ministries, but they shall be taken over by deceiving spirits and lead many of My people astray.

IHOP-KC Prophetic History (1988 Version)

old-clockWhile IHOP KC loves to tell their prophetic history (and people love to hear it), there have been several “tellings” of this time of history.  We stumbled upon a few of the older recordings of this church history lesson, and thought it would be a blessing to hear the now fallen asleep Bob Jones tell his stories one more time.

Here is the Prophetic History of IHOP-KC (Or, FOTB, Friends of the Bridegroom), as told by Mike Bickle and Bob Jones in 1988, long before they were ever 24/7, which began on September 19, 1999.

Vision of the Destruction of America by AA Allen

Allen222MY VISION OF THE DESTRUCTION OF AMERICA [Re: the Statue of Liberty (July 4, 1954, by A.A. Allen)]

As God said through the prophet Joel, “And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my Spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions.” So today, as we approach the end of the age and the time of the Lord’s return, God is speaking through His people with dreams and visions. The following vision was received by Evangelist A.A. Allen on July 4, 1954.

As I stood atop the Empire State Building, I could see the Statue of Liberty, illuminating the gateway to the new world. Here, spread before me like an animated map, is an area sixty or eighty miles in diameter. I was amazed that the Spirit of the Lord should so move me, there atop the Empire State Building. Why should I feel such a surge of His Spirit and power there?

Suddenly I heard the voice of the Lord. It was as clear and as distinct as a voice could be. It seemed to come from the very midst of the giant telescope. But when I looked at the telescope, I knew it hadn’t come from there, but directly from heaven. The voice said, “The eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong in behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward Him. Herein you have done foolishly. Therefore, from henceforth, you shall have wars.” (2 Chronicles 16:9)

Vision of Henry Gruver

“I SAW THE RUSSIANS ATTACK THE UNITED STATES!

[A Vision Given to Henry Gruver (December 14, 1985)]”

I was in Wales on December 14, 1985. I went up on top of the Eagle Tower in the Caernarvon Castle. It had eight points on it. Each of the points on it were eroded eagles. This castle was built in the 12th century.

Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but He revealeth His secret unto his servants, the prophets.

Amos 3:7

Believe in the LORD, your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets so shall ye prosper.

2 Chronicles 20:20

But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.

Matthew 18:16

George Washington’s Vision of 1777

The VisionGeorge Washington at Valley Forge

This afternoon, as I was sitting at this table engaged in preparing a dispatch, something seemed to disturb me. Looking up, I beheld standing opposite me a singularly beautiful female. So astonished was I, for I had given strict orders not to be disturbed, that it was some moments before I found language to inquire the cause of her presence. A second, a third and even a fourth time did I repeat my question, but received no answer from my mysterious visitor except a slight raising of her eyes.

By this time I felt strange sensations spreading through me. I would have risen but the riveted gaze of the being before me rendered volition impossible. I assayed once more to address her, but my tongue had become useless, as though it had become paralyzed.

How to Biblically Confront the Current False Grace Heresies

Update (5/9/2014):

We have recently put together a short book available on Amazon related to confronting the hyper-grace issues in the church today, as summarized here. In this new 200+ page book, we cover topics such as the “Words in Red”, many of the false-grace heresies in circulation today, including inclusion, as well as solid Scriptural support for the truth.

Additionally, because there is a great interest in this topic, and the subject is urgent in many people’s lives, if you cannot purchase one or have any other reason, we have made the entire contents of the book available via PDF online as well.

Additionally, feel free to check out our other articles on the topic of Hyper-Grace.

target-and-arrowThe best way to debate anything is the Word.  The Word is sufficient.  The Word is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword.  Anything you need to defend or define must have as its ultimate authority to be God, through His Word, or it will always end in the shifting sands of opinion.

However, when it comes to certain groups, because their doctrine is so far beleaguered and strays so far from the truth of the Word, because its source is still rather narrow, whenever you debate with them, they more or less follow the same basic script.  That’s right.  They don’t rely on the full counsel of the Word, they use a few texts, here or there, pulled and shifted out well beyond reason, and, if you know where they’re trying to go, you stay out of their predictable traps.
